Kurt is the Chief Business Development Officer, with Marketing & Communications also under his direction. With over 32 years of experience in the aviation and transportation industry, he brings the unique perspective of having been involved in projects from both sides – as a consultant to airports and as a tenant operator at airports. Kurt is accomplished in identifying new business opportunities and establishing new service lines that contribute to profitable growth.

What’s your favorite memory from working at the company?
When we were awarded the New Orleans Master Plan. It was the boost of energy we needed coming out of COVID that signaled our industry was on the mend.
What is the best part of your job?
I get to work with some awesome people who truly improve my journey. This is such an exciting time in our industry, and I really enjoy seeing how our growth provides opportunities for my colleagues.
What is your personal motto?
It’s all about effort and attitude: two things you can always control.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Running, golfing, and fly fishing, help me stay balanced. Serving as a volunteer for Gateway Region YMCA brings me great joy, but what I enjoy most is hanging out with my family.
Where is the best place you’ve traveled to and why?
The most beautiful place was Prague, Paris is also one of my favorite places.
What’s the weirdest job you’ve ever had?
Crew on a perch fishing charter boat out of Douglas, MI. Loved it!
What or who has been your biggest influence?
My Dad. He was a force of nature with unlimited positive energy. Darryl and Brad have also been a big influence, I couldn’t think of two better people to journey with.
